Trauma-Informed Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Coach
For more than 15 years, I have helped survivors of narcissistic abuse understand what happened to them, heal from its lasting effects, and rebuild their lives. As both a survivor and a trauma-informed recovery coach, I combine lived experience with years of specialized study, client work, and the development of evidence-informed recovery frameworks. My work is based on a simple but powerful belief: understanding abuse is only the beginning. Many survivors eventually recognize the manipulation, trauma bonding, and emotional abuse they experienced, yet they continue to struggle with anxiety, hypervigilance, self-doubt, nervous system dysregulation, and a profound loss of identity. Recovery requires more than awareness. It requires rebuilding. To help survivors make sense of their experience, I developed two original frameworks. The Post-Narcissistic Reality Hangover™ describes the emotional and physiological aftermath that often occurs after leaving a narcissistic relationship, while The Emotional Hostage Loop™ explains how fear, hope, confusion, and guilt keep people psychologically trapped. These concepts have helped thousands of survivors understand that their symptoms are predictable trauma responses rather than personal weaknesses. Survivors from more than 180 countries have turned to my books, coaching programs, blog, and podcast for guidance. I am the bestselling author of Close Encounters of the Worst Kind, The Post-Narcissistic Reality Hangover™, and the memoir Cliffedge Road. I also hosted the long-running podcast A Fine Time for Healing. My private coaching and The Post-Narcissistic Recovery Program focus on helping clients move beyond surviving. Together, we work to restore internal safety, rebuild self-trust, regulate the nervous system, reclaim identity, and create a healthier future.
