Certified Divorce Coach, Mediator, Attorney, Parent Educator
Trina Nudson, JD, LBSW is a systems-level thinker, founder, and practitioner working at the intersection of family systems, conflict resolution, and applied behavioral science. With over 25 years of frontline experience as a child advocate attorney, social worker, divorce coach, mediator, and parenting educato, Trina has spent her career inside the very systems that fail families during high-conflict transitions—and redesigning them from the inside out. She is the creator of BeH2O®, a structured, evidence-informed co-parenting system used by professionals and families to reduce conflict, shift mindset, and safeguard children’s well-being, and the founder of BeAligned™, an AI-powered reflection and communication platform designed to help parents, professionals, and institutions move from reactivity to clarity—often engaging just one willing participant to initiate meaningful change. Trina is also the founder of The Layne Project and The Layne Project 4 Families, organizations dedicated to upstream prevention, child-centered decision-making, and building sustainable systems that support families before crisis escalates. Her work draws on research from neuroscience, behavioral economics, conflict resolution, and leadership science, integrating insights from thinkers such as William Ury, Annie Duke, Emily Falk, and the Arbinger Institute—translated into practical tools that work in real life, not just theory. Known for bridging human complexity and system design, Trina speaks and writes about topics including: why neutrality isn’t enough in conflict-heavy systems, how mindset drives behavior and outcomes, the hidden cost of unresolved family conflict on institutions, and how technology can be designed to support dignity, accountability, and alignment rather than escalation. Her work is grounded, candid, and deeply human—shaped by lived experience, professional rigor, and a singular mission: safeguarding childhoods by changing how adults think, decide, and communicate when it matters most.
