David Fein is a divorce and family mediator and an uncontested divorce attorney. with the Center for Divorce Resolution. After more than three decades helping people navigate complex and often emotional challenges, David knows how deeply conflict can affect our lives. As a mediator, David leads with empathy, patience, and care - drawing on his experience as a lawyer, lobbyist, corporate executive and consultant to help people find clarity, common ground, and peace. David combines strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with compassion and understanding, guiding families through the challenges of divorce mediation. David is an experienced lawyer and corporate executive who has represented individuals and corporations on legal, regulatory, and policy matters. He earned a Certificate in Divorce Mediation from Northwestern University in 2023 and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association's Family Law Section, the Lake County Bar Association's Family Law Committee and the Illinois Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. He holds a JD from DePaul University and a BA in Political Science and Behavioral Science and Law from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. David resides in Highland Park, Illinois, and has three adult children.
