With over 30 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families, I bring a warm, compassionate, and clinically grounded approach to helping families navigate emotional and relational challenges. I have spent 20 years in private practice in Princeton, New Jersey, and more than a decade prior to that working as a counselor and art therapist in New York City schools. My work focuses on helping children and teens navigate separation and divorce through child-centered divorce care, prioritizing emotional safety, continuity of relationships, and the child’s voice during times of family transition. I also work closely with parents to help them understand and respond to their child’s emotional needs in ways that support resilience and healthy adjustment. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, and Registered Art Therapist, licensed in both New Jersey and Florida. With dual graduate degrees in Art Therapy and Social Work, I integrate both verbal and non-verbal approaches to therapy. Art therapy offers a gentle, developmentally appropriate way for children and teens to express feelings, process loss, and build confidence—especially when words are hard to find. In addition to helping children and teens navigate separation and divorce, I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, ADHD, autism, learning differences, chronic illness, grief and loss, and other significant life transitions. I collaborate thoughtfully with parents and, when appropriate, with other professionals involved in a child’s care, with the goal of supporting emotional well-being and healthy relationships during and beyond the divorce process. At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating a safe, respectful space where children and teens feel seen, understood, and supported during challenging moments in their lives.
